This information is important

Entries into the Music Design Awards must be uploaded from your desktop as universal PDF documents in English. Your written entry must be no more than the equivalent of two single sheets of US letter - or A4-sized paper (12 point type, single line spacing) saved in PDF format (3MB maximum file size).

All entries should be illustrated, to help the judges understand your project, and written following the section heading template guide shown below. The judges will automatically vote lower any over length entries. Please adhere to these basic rules of entry, together with any other specific criteria described below.

Your entry form and your written entry, together with any URLs you need to provide, are the basis on which each entry will be voted for by the judges and short-listed. Your written submission should show how your design project met its aims, employed innovative techniques, was enjoyed by users, and delivered a satisfied client and a return on investment. At the beginning of your two pages the following information must be listed:

Category entered
Title of project
End client
Entering company

The Judges will need to access any website you have designed for the Website/Internet or Mobile categories. (Please note that the website must remain live or be accessible in an archive until February 28, 2011.)

Within your submission you must use the following as sub-headings under which you clearly enter your information.

1. Brief / nature of challenge / aims
2. Creativity / innovation employed
3. Implementation
4. Outcome, including formal evaluation of results, ROI, etc

Please take care to illustrate your PDF in ways that will help the judges understand the challenge you faced and your creative solution. Failure to include these details may result in your project being marked down by the Judging Panel.

Support material
Support material will only be requested once your entry has reached the second stage of judging. Do not try and send large files, or physical examples of your work until they are requested by the organizers.

The deadline for receipt of your completed online entry form, uploaded illustrated PDF document and PayPal payment is November 30, 2010.

Disqualifications
Any design that breaks national or international laws or offends public, religious, national or gender-specific sensitivities will be disqualified. If an entry is disqualified for any reason the entry fees will not be refunded.
