Entry Process

Individual designers, design businesses, creative agencies or in-house design teams, or end user/client companies may submit entries on behalf of themselves or others and may enter any number of categories. Each submission should be tailored to fit the category into which it is being entered.

If entries are duplicated by accident or in error, entries will have to be processed before a decision about their duplication can be made. Regrettably, any duplicated entry fee will be forfeited.

Eligibility

Deadline for entries: February 24, 2012

Except where indicated, submissions should relate to the period from October 1, 2010 to December 31, 2011.

The organisers reserve the right to retain entries for subsequent publication, both on- and offline in ways that enhance the standing of entrants, supporting partners and the Music Design Awards themselves. Descriptions of submissions from winners and runners-up will be published in connection with the Awards. Entrants may mark certain sensitive parts of their entry 'not for publication' (such as exact data, etc.), provided such restrictions are not used unreasonably.

General entry information

Entries into the Music Design Awards must be submitted online. Your written entry must be no more than the equivalent of three single sheets of A4-sized paper (12 point type, single line spacing, including thumbnail illustrations) saved in PDF format (5MB maximum file size), uploaded from your desktop to the Music Design Awards website. All entries should be uploaded following the template sections listed on the Useful Information page. The Judges will automatically vote lower any entries exceeding three sides of paper. Please adhere to these basic rules of entry, together with any other specific criteria, which can be found on the Useful Advice page of this website.

A URL link to the web page where visual material can be seen must be included in your written submission. This saves on having to ship items around the world. For all three dimensional objects or stage performances of any type it helps the judges a great deal if they can see good quality video demonstration using Vimeo or YouTube.

Please refer to the How to Enter page for full information on fees and payment, and please remember: the Music Design Awards are international business awards, not consumer-facing awards. They will be judged by expert professionals, independently.
